Dr. Amber Moore, ND is a board licensed Naturopathic Doctor practicing in Oakville, Ontario. Growing up, Dr. Moore was always passionate about health and wellness, and having suffered with eczema throughout her childhood, recognizes the power of a holistic healthcare model to best approach individual health. Her strength as part of your healthcare team is in her knowledge, individualized and gentle approach, and level of care and commitment to your health goals.
Dr. Moore is passionate about optimizing health using an individualized approach that incorporates evidence-based medicine with natural therapies to address the root cause of disease. She enjoys working with patients with a variety of health concerns and has a special interest in hormonal balancing, autoimmune disease, digestive health and pain management. Dr. Moore has received additional training in the management of fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue and has supervised naturopathic interns in the management of fibromyalgia and other chronic pain conditions at the Robert Schad Naturopathic Clinic. Additionally, Dr. Moore has substantial experience dealing with women’s health concerns and offers consultations in conjunction with a number of fertility clinics in the GTA. She is an advocate for patients, employing a collaborative approach with other practitioners, and strongly believes in empowering her patients through health education.
Prior to becoming an ND, she completed four years of study to obtain an Honours Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at Wilfrid Laurier University. After graduating from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine, she achieved acceptance into the competitive Clinical Residency program, which placed Dr. Moore at the heart of medical research and the most up-to-date natural treatments. In addition to her private practice, Dr. Moore continues to enjoy mentoring students in naturopathic medicine as a part time faculty member at CCNM.
